
Cloud Operations Engineer
Publicada 9 de SeptiembreThe engineer will support reliable, secure and efficient operation of public-cloud infrastructure and cloud-native
applications. The position combines production operations, automation, observability, incident response and
collaboration with technical teams based in China.
Key responsibilities
• Own day-to-day operation, maintenance and technical governance of public-cloud infrastructure, including
containers, virtual machines, storage and networking.
• Maintain the stability, security and standardisation of cloud platforms, databases, middleware and business
applications.
• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting controlled and repeatable software releases.
• Operate and maintain Kubernetes-based, containerised and cloud-native applications in production environments.
• Build and maintain monitoring, dashboards, logging and alerting; investigate incidents and perform root-cause
analysis.
• Support production releases, troubleshoot performance or resource bottlenecks, and implement preventive
improvements.
• Collaborate daily in Mandarin with technical teams in China to implement common infrastructure and operational
standards.
• Support application migration, architecture optimisation, resource planning and cloud-cost optimisation.
• Ensure operations comply with applicable European data-protection and privacy requirements.
• Participate occasionally in an on-call rotation for urgent production incidents.
Requisitos mínimos
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in SRE, DevOps, cloud operations or a closely related role.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Linux and a good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS and HTTP/HTTPS.
• Practical experience operating and maintaining Kubernetes in production environments.
• Experience with observability technologies such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience designing, configuring or maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language, preferably Python or Shell/Bash.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience handling production incidents.
• Understanding of GDPR and European data-protection requirements.
• Fluent Mandarin Chinese and professional working proficiency in English.
• Ability to work primarily onsite in Madrid, or willingness to relocate there.
